Are you ready to join our Perfusion team of three FT staff at UPMC Hamot? Annual average procedure volume: 250 hearts, 200 PRP, 50 non-cardiac CS, 5 ECMO (transferred out after insertion), 20 IABP insertions, and 150 TAVR stand-by. One staff member on call is equally distributed among the four staff members.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited school of cardiovascular perfusion or met Grandfather Clause of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and Licensing Board of US state where practicing.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Certified or certification-eligible as per guidelines of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 24 months of hire date.Active licensure in US state where practicing required.CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hireValid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance required for some positions

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Cardiopulmonary Perfusionist OR Osteopathic Perfusionist OR Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
