Now What?
Dear Family,
Thanksgiving is behind us, and if you’re anything like me, you’re still carrying the warmth of a full belly, good company, and plenty of gratitude. But as the dishes get put away and the leftovers start to disappear, one question comes to mind: Now what?
We’ve officially entered the final stretch of the year. With just a few weeks left until 2025, this is the moment to reflect, recalibrate, and refocus. The temptation to coast into the new year is real, but here’s the truth: the way you finish the year often sets the tone for how you start the next one.
So, let me ask you this: What’s the one thing you can do between now and the end of December that will truly move the needle in your personal or professional life?
We all have a list of things we could be doing, but not all actions are created equal. It’s about identifying the small, focused steps that will create the biggest ripple effect. Maybe it’s scheduling that difficult conversation you’ve been avoiding, launching the project you’ve been sitting on, or dedicating an hour a day to honing your craft. Whatever it is, it’s not about doing everything. It’s about doing the right thing.
The final weeks of the year aren’t just a time to look back on what you’ve accomplished—they’re also an opportunity to get a head start on your next chapter.
This isn’t about chasing perfection or burning yourself out in a sprint to the finish line. It’s about being intentional. So, as you ease back into the swing of things after the holiday, take a moment to ask yourself: Now what?
What action will make the biggest impact on your 2025? Write it down. Commit to it. And then get to work.
From LUX, With Love
Matt
*** P.S. Due to year-end tax planning priorities, we had to reschedule last night's Bridge Builder for December 17th at 7 PM EST via Zoom. This will be the last one for the year. If you want to get a jump start on financial planning for the New Year, we'd love for you and your family to join us.
