1. Understanding Nursing Burnout

Nursing burnout is a growing concern, especially in the United States. In my interview, Dr. Farah Laurent sheds light on the harsh realities nurses encounter. "In the United States, the orientation structure differs greatly from healthcare in Canada. If you're a brand new nurse, you should really have about at least 12 weeks of orientation." - Dr. Farah Laurent.

Beyond the initial orientation, nurses need to continue their professional development through ongoing education and training, attending workshops, and staying updated on best practices in nursing.
