Oh no, December!

Here comes the dreaded month of December!

The time when companies decide to lay off employees. 

It is a very scary and uneasy time, but don’t let fear consume you, flick it off your shoulder.

First things first, don’t panic, breathe and clear the noise in your head.

Look up and out and dig to find your inner passions. What do you like to do?

Here is your time to pursue those passions unhindered and without judgement. Put yourself out there and connect with people with like mindedness and before you know it you will have a group of supporters and cheer leaders. Surround yourself with positive and supportive people. 

Don’t be discouraged even though there will be people who ignore you (like when you try to connect with them on LinkedIn). Build your own tribe. Network, Network, Network! And Network some more. It’s free and you will be surprised that strangers will show up to help you. That’s the beauty of humanity. 

Secondly, don’t be a sheep! Don’t follow the norm or do what you think is expected of you. Break down barriers and fly with confidence. If you build it, they will come. 

As they saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Take that step and remember to smile while doing it. Positivity will attract positive outcomes and make your heart lighter.

Do what you love to do and the money will come. 

And most importantly help those around you who need it. There is no greater joy than making a difference in someone else’s life. That is what being human is truly about.
