Outstanding new startup compensation tool

Over the years I have written a number of articles offering career advice to new graduates that was ultimately consolidated into an ebook called The Silicon Valley Career Guide. One of the most popular features of the career guide was an interactive infographic that displayed market rates for equity and cash compensation by type of company, company size, position and geography. Unfortunately we had to take the tool down earlier this year because we were not able to obtain a high quality source of data to address the tool’s biggest weakness – its inability to differentiate appropriate compensation based on company valuation.

 I’m writing to let companies who are looking for this kind of data to build their annual equity distribution plans know that a company called Advanced HR has just released a fantastic tool called Option Driver that goes far beyond Wealthfront’s old startup compensation tool.
