Palantir and ICE built an algorithmic deportation machine

Ah yes, the American dream, now brought to you by Peter Thiel’s creepy data panopticon and a government agency that treats compassion like a malware infection.

Apparently, a whistleblowing, leaking, snitchin’, moling, ratting informant, who was chatting with 404 Media, them billionaires at Palantir Technologies, that’s Thiel’s little military industrial complex built on AI and surveillance startup turned murderous empire, is now playing a major role in helping ICE (immigration cops) hunt down people it wants to disappear.

They were created in 2003 after 9/11, as part of the sweeping “War on Terror” paranoia package, and ever since, they have ballooned into a para military bureaucracy with far too much power and far too little oversight. And now they have received an AI-powered toolkit thanks to companies like Palantir whispering profiles into their earpiece. And not only undocumented immigrants, mind you.

I’m talking ‘bout anyone Trump and his goons deem disposable.

"Accidental" Americans, citizens who posted the wrong thing, probably your barista who said "Free Palestine" too loudly near a Ring doorbell.

All fair game.

Let’s pause for a second to look in awe at this unholy big alliance. . ICE, the federal wrecker of families, and Palantir, the billion-dollar stalker startup with a fetish for predictive policing and zero chill, and together, they are creating deportation lists, but also full-blown digital war rooms, filled with logistics dashboards, AI surveillance tools, and what’s apparently a “self-deportation tracker”.

A wud?!?

Ah yes, the self-deportation tracker. Even Orwell would’ve scrapped 1984 for being too subtle.

Now, that’s a system that ICE and Palantir cooked up to monitor and track people who “voluntarily” leave the United States. Emphasis on the air quotes. It's like saying someone "chose" to leave the party after you broke their arm and took their shoes.

It sounds like a bureaucratic nothingburger in theory. Just track who left the country on their own, no cuffs, no drama. But in reality, it turns out to be a surveillance system that is designed to micromanage the hell out of people, even after they’re no longer in the country. It helps ICE keep tabs on when, and how someone leaves, and folds that data into bigger deportation logistics, because if you’re not breaking down doors, you still gotta meet your exile quota somehow.

Them trains gotta keep on rolling. It’s also a subtle PR move.

Because the government gets to paint their deportation numbers as cleaner, and more humane, while they’re building psychological pressure cookers through fear, surveillance, and harassment behind the scenes. You leave “voluntarily” because the alternative is ICE at your door, your name in a database, and your kids crying while strangers haul you away.

When I read it, it felt like slapping a “customer satisfaction” form on an execution.

They even built internal FAQs so their employees can explain to family and friends why they’re now personally contributing to government-led ethnic cleansing.

Awww.

So cute.

Now look, it's not like ICE needed help being terrifying.

They've already been smashing windows, dragging folks out of their homes, and ghosting due process like an ex they owe money to. But Palantir are the turbo boost on this already unhinged operation. They are the reason ICE can track deportation targets with military precision, matching names, movements, even arranging the transportation logistics like it's a damn Amazon warehouse.

Only instead of delivering packages, they're deporting people.

ICE is coming, and it ain’t about snowstorms

Let’s get one thing straight—this isn’t about "illegal immigration." This is about turning mass surveillance into state violence, using machine learning and a sprinkle of fascist ambition to turn the U.S. into a digital deportation gulag. Already, over 200 people have been deported—most of them now crammed into a notorious prison in El Salvador. Seventy-five percent of them have zero criminal record. Zilch. Nada. Their real crime? Daring to exist while brown, foreign-born, or politically inconvenient.

Meanwhile, hundreds of international students have had their visas yanked, accused of being antisemitic or Hamas sympathizers. The actual reason? Protesting Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Peaceful protest? Sorry, that’s now grounds for exile. Welcome to the First Amendment, Except You’re Foreign clause.

Then there’s Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man who fled El Salvador in fear for his life—only to be deported right back into danger by the U.S. government. Why? Bureaucratic error, they said. Oops. Our bad. Then they tried to smear him as an MS-13 gang member with literally zero proof. Because nothing says “we’re building a just society” like slandering an asylum seeker and sending him back into the arms of death.

This is what happens when you build systems to “optimize” deportation without building any guardrails for truth, dignity, or basic fucking humanity. ICE doesn’t care. Palantir sure as hell doesn’t care. And Trump? He’s too busy fantasizing about mass deportation events like they’re WrestleMania.

Make no mistake: this is the future they want. A militarized immigration machine, fueled by bad data, worse intentions, and billion-dollar software built to dehumanize at scale. And if they’re not stopped, it won’t end with migrants. It never does. When you turn a country into a surveillance state, everyone becomes a target eventually.

Fuck ICE. Fuck Palantir. Fuck the orange Jesus and everyone greasing the gears of this fascist machine with their venture capital, their silence, and their goddamned spreadsheets.
