Plastics in remote Arctic coasts

The archipelago of Svalbard is about the size of Netherlands and Belgium combined with a population of around 3000. Still, some of the remotest beaches are covered in plastics: nets, ropes, tarps - you name it. This week I was in the Lomfjorden to clean the beach. Finding the sources will help end this problem. #arctic #litter
