The Power of Consistency: Why Showing Up Daily Changes Everything in Leadership and Business

The Myth of the “Big Break”

Since childhood, my mom has drilled these words into my mind: “Action speaks louder than words.” Over the years, I’ve come to measure a person’s character not by what they say, but by what they actually do.

No one proves that better than Khaby Lame, the TikTok star who went viral by silently mocking complicated life hacks. Born in Senegal and raised in Italy, Khaby faced challenges many of us can relate to: limited resources, a new culture, and uncertainty about the future. In 2020, during the pandemic, he lost his factory job — a turning point that could have been discouraging.

Instead, he showed up every day on TikTok: creating content, engaging with his audience, posting consistently, and seizing opportunities strategically. His silent, relatable skits quickly resonated worldwide, earning him over 200 million followers, collaborations with major brands like Hugo Boss, and even film opportunities.

The lesson? Khaby’s rise wasn’t “overnight.” It was the result of daily, intentional action — the kind of consistency that builds momentum and opens doors over time.

Why I’m Making My Commitment Public

I’ve seen this principle play out in my own career and in the businesses I’ve helped grow. The people who achieve long-term success aren’t always the most talented or innovative — they’re the ones who keep showing up, day after day.

I believe so strongly in this that I’m putting it into action publicly. Recently, I deleted all my social media accounts except for:

  • A private Facebook group I value for connection

  • LinkedIn, where I’m dedicating all my professional energy

With over 14,000 professionals in my LinkedIn network and 1,900+ newsletter subscribers, I see the opportunity for impact. But opportunity without consistency leads nowhere.

Here’s my public commitment:

  • One LinkedIn article every day at 7:00 PM EST

  • One newsletter every Sunday at 11:00 AM EST

This isn’t just about discipline — it’s about building trust, momentum, and clarity in leadership, business, and life.

The Three Pillars of Consistency

1. Trust

People believe what they see you do consistently, not what you promise once. Showing up day after day builds credibility and loyalty with your audience, clients, and team.

2. Momentum

Small actions compound. One article turns into a library of insights. One conversation turns into a lasting relationship. Momentum is created by repeated effort over time.

3. Clarity

Consistency forces you to learn quickly what works, what doesn’t, and what truly matters. It sharpens your message, improves your craft, and highlights your real strengths.

My Leadership Blueprint

I help Sales Teams and Leaders create high-performing ecosystems rooted in servant leadership and authentic relationships — unlocking consistent referrals, stronger client retention, and sustainable revenue growth.

My approach is simple: Serve Generously • Partner Strategically • Equip Intentionally • Systemize to Multiply Impact

Even the best strategies fizzle without consistency. Daily actions are what transform ideas into measurable results.

How You Can Apply This in Your Business

  1. Pick One Non-Negotiable Action Whether it’s daily outreach, a weekly client check-in, or posting content, pick something and stick with it.

  2. Set a Schedule and Protect It Treat it like an unmissable appointment each day or week.

  3. Track Your Wins Keep a simple log of your actions and results. Seeing small wins accumulate motivates and proves the power of compounding effort.

Your Turn

What’s one small action you can commit to doing every day for the next 30 days that will move your business or leadership forward?

I’ll be here every day at 7:00 PM EST, sharing articles designed to help you lead well, grow your business, and create sustainable success.

If you want these insights delivered directly to your inbox, you can subscribe to my weekly newsletter, Keys to Grow, where I share actionable leadership strategies, business growth tips, and real-world lessons from the field.

Consistency may feel small, but it is the bridge between intention and impact. Start today, stay consistent, and watch the results unfold.
