Powering Sustainability: Earth Day & COP30

Dear Reader, 

As April unfolds and Earth Day returns, we're reminded of Earth's generosity and our responsibility to care for this beautiful planet we call home. 🌍

This year's Earth Day theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," emphasises the critical role renewable energy plays in protecting our shared home and tackling climate change head-on. It resonates deeply with our journey towards COP30—a pivotal moment that will take place in the heart of the Amazon, where the health of our planet is both symbol and substance. 

Luciana Bacchi Prestes, Brazilian of the Futur/io team, recently traveled to Belém do Pará to explore the future venue for our events—and standing on the edge of the rainforest, the urgency of action became more than abstract. It was personal. We should honour the efforts and achievements of those who lead this action and that's why, in November, the CSO Awards will launch a special Latin America edition during COP30, and Futur/io House will once again open its doors for CSOs, sustainability leaders and innovators! 🌱

But first, let’s meet in Paris! 🇫🇷 Just as the elements of nature come together to power the Earth, we, too, must align our energies and collaborate.
