A proper process of Self Talk actually can help to evaluate self and work on gaps

A realistic approach to process your self talk actually provides solutions to many issues .How the same process to be addressed :

  1. Facing Inner Reflection : This is basically named as Awareness Phase , this means facing the discomfort . What is the trigger: In this case its feeling uneasy, anxious or emotionally overwhelmed And what to do for that ? Acknowledge the discomfort without any judgement.
  2. Safe Environment - Create emotional safety: This phase is a fear of facing emotions or thoughts so the solution to this step is to acknowledge a space where and with whom you feel safe rather emotionally safe .Keep yourself away from distractions and acknowledge your space .
  3. Externalization : Identifying a different way to express your untold emotions . Many of us are scared to address our thinking directly so through this step we can start expressing the feelings through recording voice notes or writing them in journals .
  4. Reflective Listening : This step is to read and understand what you have recorded or have written as it is essential to understand and observe, the tone, themes, repetitions, tone etc.
  5. Gentle Inquiry : Asking self - ready to trigger your deeper thoughts. This step is all about why, when, what and how . These self queries would help to dig into the more details of why are you afraid , hesitant to face and listen to yourself , at times you are not even ready to face yourself.
  6. Self Validation : Acknowledge your truth: Affirm your experience . Whatever your feelings you have accept the same and clarify our thoughts .
  7. Refrain or Release: This step is all about thinking in a different way to get yourself a solution , or you accept the way it is . Its not essential that you will have a ready made solution for everything so either you accept or you seek something different.
  8. Repeat in Small Doses : Build a Habit : Every time you address to your self talk you will be able to identify the continuous improvement you require and its needs
  9. Integration : Integrate your habit of self talk to your daily emotions and feelings you experience as that would help you to understand why you think the way , what is good for you and what is killing you gradually.

This step by step approach can elevate your thinking process and also can provide you with corrective actions towards your thoughts which are destructive and stops your professional and personal well being.
