Ocean Conservancy – Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI)
GGI tackles one of the deadliest forms of ocean plastic—abandoned fishing nets. These "ghost nets" are a leading killer of marine species. The initiative brings together industry, NGOs, academia, and governments to remove ghost gear and create long-term solutions.

Royal Society For The Protection Of Birds – Albatross Task Force
Every five minutes, an albatross dies due to industrial fishing. With support from the Ocean Health Fund, the Task Force has introduced innovative bycatch mitigation strategies—leading to a 90% reduction in bycatch in Namibia and South Africa.
