• Data-Driven Improvement through Performance Review Meetings. At Primary Health Care Corporation , data-driven decision-making is central to the focus on Patient Safety and Quality of Care. The Performance Review Meetings, introduced in 2021, serve as a transformative and sustainable mechanism for continuous quality improvement across PHCC’s 31 Health Centers. These efforts have led to significant improvements, including increased compliance in medication reconciliation and patient identification, which showcasedthe PRM process’s effectiveness in driving cross-departmental collaboration and continuous improvement.   

• My Diabetes, My Ramadan. Every year, millions of Muslims living with diabetes observe fasting during the month of Ramadan; however, the global impact of fasting on glycemic control, medication adherence and diabetes-related complications remains unaddressed. Recognizing the need for a standardized, evidence-based approach, Wakra Health Center, Qatar, introduced the Ramadan Action Plan – an innovative health education tool designed in collaboration with patients living with Diabetes. The integration of this Plan into routine diabetes care ensures a proactive, safe, person-centred approach that can be spread globally.   

• The Ethical Compass: Guiding Health Care Integrity. The Corporate Ethics Committee at Primary Health Care Corporation serves as a cornerstone of ethical governance, fostering integrity and accountability across the organization. Comprising a multidisciplinary team of clinical, administrative, and community representatives, the committee ensures a holistic approach to addressing ethical challenges, fostering collaboration, and valuing diverse perspectives.
