Our ecosystem of partners plays a key role in developing customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and increasing adoption of Red Hat products and solutions. As customers use Red Hat technologies to help solve increasingly complex business issues, our partners provide reliable guidance and technical expertise to assist customers make sound technology decisions and drive successful business outcomes.

We continue to be humbled by our partners, who are constantly finding new ways of using open source technology to inspire innovative solutions to meet and overcome customer challenges. This year’s award winners have helped customers across diverse industries, guiding them on their path to IT modernisation, hybrid cloud adoption and business transformations.

Presenting to you the Red Hat Partner of the Year 2022 awards roll call for ANZ:

  • A/NZ Partner of the Year: Deloitte, for being an advocate for best practice cloud solutions for customers, and driving cloud adoption, and business transformations in partnership with Red Hat.

Deloitte continues to be a market leader driving cloud transformations, new products and cloud services bookings for customers, particularly in state and federal governments. They have worked productively with Red Hat and our customers to address customer challenges including issues that develop around shared support models.

With the true unification of platform and cloud engineering, Deloitte has been instrumental in driving new cloud platforms and products in the past year and is poised for ongoing future success.

  • Innovation Partner of the Year: Advent One, for driving and delivering innovation using open source solutions, in collaboration with other partners, and vendors around managed hybrid cloud and automation..

Advent One has grown significantly over the past year, driving its partnership with Red Hat to extend beyond our Automation Platform into Containers and Managed Cloud Services, finding new and innovative ways to help customers with their technology requirements. It is exciting to see this leading into new project opportunities and additional automation use cases.

  • Professional Services Partner of the Year: Integral, for successfully expanding business opportunities in partnership with Red Hat to ensure both organisations successfully deliver outcomes for our customers.

Integral has built what can only be described as one of the best Red Hat OpenShift practices in ANZ. Using Red Hat OpenShift as their core strategy, they have made strategic investments in identity broker workloads that are very successful, with wide adoption across both federal and state government agencies, and corporates alike.

  • Distribution Partner of the Year: Ingram Micro New Zealand, for delivering the strongest engagement out of our ANZ distributors, and growing the partner ecosystem in both coverage and capability.

Ingram Micro New Zealand has set a very high bar in delivering innovative, creative and best practice campaigns and programs and have delivered the strongest engagement out of our distributors over the past year. Being well aligned to the Red Hat vision, they are continually attracting new partners and opportunities. Our business and cultural alignment ensures a strong joint understanding of what success looks like for both Ingram Micro and Red Hat.

  • Cloud Partner of the Year: Microsoft, for encouraging team collaboration and furthering cloud adoption and modernisation with customers in partnership with Red Hat on open hybrid cloud solutions.

The Red Hat and Microsoft relationship continues to grow from strength to strength from our humble beginnings around RHEL and .NET Core to now jointly tackling complex and challenging problems facing our customers around application modernisation and automation.

With continued growth and prolific public cloud adoption, Microsoft has been focused on increasing cloud adoption and modernisation with customers through their ISV partners, like Red Hat.

Furthermore, Microsoft has continued to invest in the local market by including Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) as a service in-scope of the Azure IRAP PROTECTED review, along with working to ensure ARO is a foundational service in the new Microsoft New Zealand data centre.

Advanced Partner of the Year: Cirrus Networks, for bringing together a partner ecosystem to provide an innovative approach to creating a state-owned enterprise design with Red Hat consultants.

Cirrus worked with a group of partners to provide a unique outlook on creating a state-owned enterprise design engaging Red Hat consultants and providing cross-skilled consultants to enhance the engagement. Cirrus's unconventional path to bringing together a partner ecosystem allowed a result for the end client which otherwise would not have been possible.

New Partner of the Year: DeployPartners, for showing significant commitment to Red Hat, and implementing best practices in customer relationship development.

DeployPartners have shown significant commitment to investing in Red Hat. With our marketing, sales, and technical teams closely aligned, we are confident that Deploy will continue to grow its partnership with Red Hat.

On behalf of Red Hat’s Ecosystem team and our leadership, I want to congratulate and thank each and every Red Hat Partner in A/NZ, and acknowledge the value our partners continue to bring to A/NZ businesses and our customers. We are stronger and better together.
