Religions are one’s belief systems which could be intimidating if not reasoned by intellect

I was thinking of writing this for quite some time. It’s always right to stand up and express what is right. Events which are happening over the course of last couple of months has really triggered me to express my thoughts with the professional community.

There are lots of comment on the tweeter, Facebook, WhatsApp and other platform going on against the famous Indian movie actor. Let’s keep the religion aside for a moment and try to perceive thing from the eye of a mother. Every single mother does not matter which religion she belongs to wants best for her children. She can go to any extent even risk her own life when she sense threat to her kids.

I belongs to the so called majority community and lives in the majority area even though I am worried about my kids when they are not at home. Aren’t you…? If I say something like I am living in Utter Pradesh and scared to live here, worried about my kinds safety and wanted to move either Bengaluru or to some another country then no one probably would have noticed or reacted. Did you see the religion angle here…..how bias we are?

There were and will, always be fanatic people in every religion but that does not make any religion such a bad, provided we respect all the religion with the same intensity as we do ours. But for those fanatic people every incident is an opportunity to get their political or personal motive full filled. Again religion is very much subjected word and I would like to touch the philosophical angle in greater details but that’s not my intention here from this article.

So my question here is why we relate or try to relate every problem with the religion. Why don’t we use our intellect to look at it as a pure problem and works towards finding the solution for it? We solve the problems in our personal and professional life aren’t we ? and if it cannot be fixed then sometimes it is better to be ignored and let the nature take its course. I hope some of you might recall “problem solving” skills we did in the Management courses. Have you ever noticed that there are more of the complaints rather than the problems in our life?  Infect most of the time we find it hard to differentiate between problem and the complaint.

There is so much fuss about tolerance and intolerance everywhere. I don’t want to understand what exactly that means. Let’s looks at it from the problem solving skills….did we make any attempt to assured the couple that they are safe and their kids are safe in the country, did anyone tried to understand why they feel the way it is now, what is the rationale behind that. Instead we all proved that the couple was right just by says too many bad thing which our minds capable of throwing. Wouldn’t it be good to just kept quite if we are not capable of solving their problem? And respect their personal decision.

I have seen families when it comes to make career outside the family and needed to move another state or country then there was a huge resistance from the family not to let their son go outside. We are too a big family then how could we say to someone get lost etc…you see my point here…its religion that is making our mind act differently in the same situation.

Folk time has come to remove the spectacles of religion and see thing clearly as they are. I don’t want to offend my religious friends but the fact is religion has done more harm than good to the mankind. Religion was born to achieve the spiritual growth are we really progressing, are we? For me spiritualism is beyond any religion or let me put it in another way that spiritualism does not have any religion.

Next time someone ask me about my religion perhaps I would happily say that I belongs to neutral religion. That will help conditioning my mind to unconditionally Love all and hate none…………
