🌟 Excited to Share My First Research Paper! 🌟

I'm thrilled to announce that my research paper, "Multi-modal brain image fusion using multi-feature guided fusion network," has been published in Biomedical Signal Processing and Control. 📝🔬 This work focuses on multi-feature guided fusion network [MFG-FuseNet] which is introduced to fuse multi-modal medical images. The primary objective of this research is to develop a model that is both computationally light and functionally supreme. A comprehensive and exhaustive study was conducted using various other deep learning models for comparison, and this is the first study that introduces special sub-frameworks for edge extraction and context boosting in enhancing edge, spatial and textural information.

Through this project, I had the opportunity to explore advanced image processing techniques, build a neural networks-based sub-framework, learn about the various merits and demerits of all types of medical images, and contribute to the field of biomedical engineering. This research is particularly close to my heart as it aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and help in early detection and treatment planning for cancer patients. Our network can be trained for any kind of real-time application which requires multi-modal fusion.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible teamwork and dedication of my co-authors Dr. Nirmala P ma'am, Niranjan Madan, Ashwin Santosh & Aakash kumar. ✨ Your expertise, insights, and hard work were essential in bringing this research to life.
