We’re excited to announce that the SAB along with the Office of the Premier in the Eastern Cape has unveiled the Ibhayi Brewery expansion project that is set to accelerate economic growth.

We’re excited to announce that the SAB along with the Office of the Premier in the Eastern Cape has unvelied the Ibhayi Brewery expansion project that is set to accelerate economic growth.   The purpose of this is project to unpack SAB's R510 million investment, into the Eastern Cape, as well as showcase the importance of growing the economy and creating much-needed jobs in the communities we operate in. The Ibhayi Brewery is the 6th largest brewery in South Africa for the South African Breweries. To date, the completed work of the expansion project amounts to R110 million and has created numerous job opportunities in the Eastern Cape Province.

This project is an example of how we provide opportunities, through our investments, for local contractors that work on the capacity expansion of the brewery and contractors that will help service the brewery when it is in operation. In doing so, we can ensure widespread economic growth in the province, and this is important to us in our mission to move South Africa forward. To a #FutureWithMoreCheers. #Beernomics
