"See Something, Say Something" -- 2025 Edition!!

After 9/11, heightened concern about terrorism in the US bought a new national campaign: “If you see something, say something!"

Today, with daily efforts at anti-democracy, #ruination and #corruption occurring in front of us blatantly, at unprecedented scales, Americans need to be hyper-vigilant anew …

And wonderfully, proudly, our fellow citizens are doing it!

  • By witnessing, filming, and sharing with the world harrowing excesses.

  • By filling the streets across the country with peaceful, vociferous patriots calling out pusillanimous officials (often too afraid to appear in public and to defend their actions).

When law-abiding, democracy-loving, active citizens “see something” – the flouting of #law, violations of #rights, the denial of facts and science, gross self-dealing -- we do “say something.”

We inform our neighbors and friends, we record, post and repost, and we announce and pledge our ourselves anywhere and everywhere. We holler, visibly, loudly, far and wide, with pitched alarms. And repeat, again and again.

This is what all of us can do.

Go for it!!
