Should You Consider Podcasting?
Reading time: less than one minute
Podcasting can be a great way to connect with engaged audiences across all age groups and gain a loyal following. I spend almost half my waking hours listening to podcasts, but I’m no expert at running a podcast. That’s why I’ve invited podcast specialist Debra Levitt from Match Me to Podcasts to share her insights with you.
Why is podcasting so powerful and should you consider getting involved? Debra has provided three key reasons:
Build Strong Connections: Listeners form a relationship with you through your voice, getting to know, like, and trust you more deeply than on other platforms.
Boost Authority and Credibility: Sharing expertise or telling stories through a podcast positions you as a thought leader in your niche, enhancing your reputation.
Expand Your Reach: Podcasting helps grow your personal brand, whether you start your own show, guest on others, or do both.
The best part? You don’t have to overcommit. Start small, explore what works for you, and see how podcasting can help you grow! Next week we'll look at what to consider if you're starting your own podcast!
