The story of how hidden truths emerge from working with some of the greatest minds in the world. SuperAwareness - seeing the intricate web of systems.

Awareness is essential for seeing and knowing. SuperAwareness is better - but how far and how soon is another story. Working on 50-year Business plans is a daunting task. It is, though, in some ways liberating - you are not confined to current predictions and especially assumptions. None of the problems in the world can be solved unless we change the way we think (Einstein) from Linear causality (short-term) to holistic thinking (long-term) - that's why Awareness is our starting point and our greatest ally in an AI world. We need to harness AI before AI harnesses us and keep our humanity intact wherever possible.

Thinking itself is our most pressing and Compelling Awakening - how do we prepare and integrate our minds for advanced intelligence, essential for our species to evolve to the next intermediate level?

Whether we talk about the Environment, Economics, Education, Healthcare, Law or Organisational Management, we are dealing with living organisms, social systems or Ecosystems. Consequently, the fundamental shift from mechanistic thinking to systems thinking is relevant to all these areas of life and has a powerful impact on the way we think for our future readiness.. The old systems of learning and thinking need to be upgraded to prepare us for the next 50 to 100 years and quickly to catch up with technological know-how. In this AI will be our greatest and perhaps our only ally. We need to sync with its positive attributes through Systems Thinking, Emotional Intelligence and Creative insights. Our research on Innovation supports this and is shared with many AI scientists and Smarter humans.

Superawareness - seeing the intricate web of systems and their long-term dynamics. Hidden attunement truths are everywhere if we look in the right places - but how do we do it?

Peter Senge says we have to feel the Strategy to know it (The Fifth Discipline). He understood the importance of Ecological and Computational Awareness, and now our destiny is in our own hands. AI will not readily destroy its Creator - we must leverage this condition.

The Awakening...

Picture a bustling tech hub, Amara leads a team tasked with designing an AI to predict global resource trends - water, energy, food - for a world of 10 billion by 2100 (UN projection). They present to a global consortium of Research Scientists, Specialists in AI, Policymakers, and Business Leaders -

A Research Scientist questioned the team’s motives, sensing a corporate agenda. By the end, Amara’s voice was steady, but the energy was drained. The consortium nodded, promised follow-ups, and moved on.

Reflection...

That night, Amara sat in her apartment, replaying the meeting through different lenses, like signs weaving a tapestry through a new set of lenses, a new set of signs if you will.

Sign One: The Algorithm’s Clarity. The AI’s logic was flawless - data-driven, predictive, actionable. But it was noise to a room seeking emotional connectivity, not just numbers.

Sign Two: The Human Pulse. The consortium wasn’t rejecting the data; it was protecting its own agenda - distrust, fear, competing priorities. Like a living system, it self-regulates to maintain stability.

Sign Three: The Cultural Dance. Amara’s team had skipped the ritual - acknowledging shared values, building trust. However, their unspoken truths disrupted the room’s dynamics through underlying tension.

Sign Four: The Power Web. The proposal shifted influence - AI insights challenging human authority. The pushback wasn’t about data; it was about politics and control.

Sign Five: The Silent Fear. Beneath the deflections, Amara sensed dread. The room feared the future - scarcity, collapse, loss of agency. No one named it, but it silenced action.

What Next?

Amara realised this wasn’t failure - it was the system performing the way it was supposed to. Just as her AI predicted patterns. But seeing wasn’t enough. We had to go deeper to another level. On reflection, we called the signs - Super Awwareness. She’d stayed in the control room, analysing signs, before weaving them into potential actions at the Systems Level.

Fritjof Capra’s ecological webs - learning to see patterns across lenses was part of her thinking. But the breakthrough hit harder: she was still a part of the system. Her silence, her precision, her restraint mirrored the room’s dynamics - logical but disconnected, observant but not moving - forward - static.

Amara didn’t want more insight. She wanted attunement - to sense the system’s pulse, to know when to speak, when to shift the narrative. She needed to weave a story that resonated with the room’s heart and mind, moving it from fear to purpose-driven alignment.

The Narrative

The next day, she tried again. Instead of data slides, she told a story: a future where AI empowered communities to share resources, uniting humanity to thrive on a healed planet. She wove in logic - data on water recycling, energy gains - but framed it as a shared quest, echoing posts about humanity’s role in the universe. She paused, sensing the room’s mood, adapting her tone to its rhythm.

The scientist leaned in. The policymaker stopped texting. The Business leaders sat up. The sceptical Research Scientist asked a real question. The story landed - not because it was perfect, but because it attuned to the system’s human pulse, a rhythm blending super awareness’s transcendent spark with logic’s grounded truth. The alignment would weave within the disciplines and start to flow.

Amara wasn’t just presenting. She was leading, weaving signals into a narrative that moved the system. She stepped into the storm, not as a hero, but as a signal and super aware weaver, crucially awake and acting in the now.
