At SPARK 2025, Tencent Games unveiled 46 updates and new titles across its global network of in-house studios, publishing teams and investee partners – reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class entertainment experiences to players around the globe.

Tencent Games Joins Playing for the Planet Alliance to Champion Sustainability

Sustainability and environmental responsibility are core to Tencent’s “Tech for good” philosophy – and now, the commitment extends even further.

Tencent Games has officially joined the Playing for the Planet Alliance, supported by the United Nations Environment Programme, with the aim of uniting game companies to tackle the industry’s environmental impact and inspire climate action.

This vision is already coming to life – towards Tencent’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030 – with notable projects like the forest-themed campaign integrating ecological conservation into gameplay of Honor of Kings and PUBG MOBILE, which provides a glimpse of potential future impacts of climate change through immersive gameplay.

“Joining the Alliance underscores our belief that video games can be a force for good and a powerful platform for paving the way to a greener future. Honor of Kings Rolls Out Massive Update: Introducing Honor of Kings Plus

On June 23, Honor of Kings rolled out its most extensive update yet—Honor of Kings Plus. The highlight: Flowborn, the MOBA genre’s first-ever customizable avatar, built for multiple combat roles.

Players can now earn Stars for exceptional moments, even in defeats, showcasing a revamped system that better recognizes individual performance. Enhanced real-time voice-to-text and translation features promote seamless global communication, while refined battlefield mechanics deliver a smoother, more immersive gameplay experience. The Honor Pass system has also been overhauled with streamlined missions and richer rewards, including a complimentary Elite Pass and the exclusive Alessio EWC skin.

Delta Force Heads to Consoles – Debuting on 19 August

Team Jade has announced that Delta Force is officially landing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as a free-to-play title on 19 August. Console players can jump into two signature multiplayer modes: Operations (extraction shooter) and Warfare (large-scale battleground) – plus enjoy the iconic single-player campaign Black Hawk Down as a free DLC. Crossfire: Legends Returns to Southeast Asia – Beta Test Coming on 23 July

Crossfire: Legends is back! The highly anticipated mobile-first-person shooter (FPS) title will be launching its Southeast Asia Beta Test from July 23 to August 22 in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines Optimized for mobile – available on both IOS and Android – with enhanced controls, modern visuals, and Unity Engine performance, Crossfire: Legends also supports local languages including Bahasa Indonesia, Filippino, and Thai, and features regionally inspired character skins and operator designs.

Beta testers can help shape the game – influencing balancing and polish – ahead of the full Southeast Asia launch, slated for late 2025.

FY2025 Q1: A Strong Start to the Year

● Tencent kicked off FY2025 with strong momentum, reporting RMB16.6 billion in international games revenues – up 23% year-on-year, driven by growth in revenues from Brawl Stars, Clash Royale and PUBG MOBILE.

● Domestically, games including Honor of Kings and CrossFire Mobile, achieved record-high gross receipts. Delta Force’s domestic user base reached a post-launch record of 12 million peak DAU in April 2025.
