That’s a wrap! My favorite moments from ViVE

I had the pleasure of attending ViVE 2025 in Nashville this week and left the event feeling energized and so excited for what’s ahead for the future of healthcare innovation, particularly in the connected care space. Here are a few key moments I wanted to share. 

Baxter’s debut at ViVE 

The Baxter team was live at ViVE for the first time, showcasing our latest innovations in our clinical communications portfolio, alongside Oneview Healthcare . Our team showcased how hospitals can achieve simplified workflows for care teams and a better experience for patients. There were so many valuable interactions, conversations and connections made. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!

Jammin’ on hospital command centers 

I sat down with industry thought leaders for a panel discussion on the concept of command centers in health systems. In my experience working in hospital settings, I’ve seen firsthand the need for better data integration and information-sharing. Whether it’s a lack of actionable data to make informed clinical decisions, or an overburdened workforce, setting up a central mission control center could help to alleviate some of these issues and build a stronger, more efficient system.  At Baxter, our team approaches these challenges in partnership with hospitals and health systems with a focus on delivering connected solutions with impact. Shoutout to my fellow panelists Crystal Broj , David Atashroo, MD , Sonja Tarrago, MD, FAAP and Anwesha Dutta for a great conversation! 

Striking a chord with healthcare innovators 

Nashville was the place to be this week for the movers and shakers of healthcare innovation. I met with so many great minds at the show, and I’m grateful for the time well spent. Sometimes it helps to step away from your day to day to meet in person with the people making a difference in the industry. I spent some quality time with the Verizon healthcare team to discuss the future of connectivity in the hospital.
