Tip 15: Let it Rest (Write Your Book Series)

Hi, Reader!

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your writing is to take a break from it, let it rest. Let yourself rest.

When I write these posts, I review them again a few days later to make sure I've provided well-rounded content that actually says what I want it to say. Oh, and I do my best to catch all of the mistakes, but perfect is the enemy of published, right?

I've been told that rather than editing as you go, getting all of your thoughts down on paper and then coming back to them days, weeks, or even months later (depending upon your timeline), can help you to crystallize your thoughts. It will probably also cause you to say, 'Wow! I wrote this! I'm awesome!' At least I truly hope it does!

See you tomorrow!
