Viewing AI as a replacement for clinicians, an instant cure-all, an infallible system, a cause of widespread job losses, or a solution to equity gaps on its own not only overstates its capabilities but also shifts focus away from what matters most—responsible implementation, meaningful collaboration, and truly patient-centred innovation. 1- AI Will Take the Place of Human Physicians
One of the most pervasive and detrimental myths in healthcare adoption strategies is the notion that AI tools can or will replace physicians and nurses. AI has the potential to revolutionise clinical practice by assisting with diagnosis, workflow, and administrative duties, but it is unable to replace human carers' empathy, holistic judgement, and nuanced communication. AI systems need to be thoroughly tested in actual clinical settings, customised for workflow, and ingrained in company culture; this calls for constant training and change management. Failures in the real world have shown that "accuracy claims" made during development rarely translate smoothly to real-world settings, where new challenges are introduced by diverse populations and clinical nuances. Expensive products that are never widely used are the result of failing to understand these complexities.

Although they are not the same, accuracy statistics are frequently confused with workload reduction or improved patient outcomes.
