Trust Begins with YOU...

What an Awesome way to kick start today - Friday!

Joined in by like-minded HR professionals for an Open Roundtable discussion on “Building a culture of trust at the workplace in a Digital Age” organized by People Matters, moderated by Jawad Ahmad Director at C2C Organizational Development.

As the new world today is centered around people and work, we are at a center of all this building a culture of trust at the workplace. Huddles at the session connected us with people of similar interests and background so sitting at the table next to someone meant you were likely to face similar challenges or even have similar enquiries.

While the insights of the discussion gave a brief on the Dimensions of Trust: Being The Three Cs – Capabilities, Character and Communications. Being a people’s person I kept my focus upon the question which came forth: What is Trust and why is it so important? I chose to relate this instantly to a bunch of passionate and energetic folks who work day in and out with me, yes ofcors, MY TEAM!

Its absolutely important when individuals in a team trust one another, they can work effectively together creating Magic. And we need to start this with the right mindset, learn about each other and simply believe in the abilities of one another. As trust is that glue which keeps incredible teams together, when things go wrong (and often do) we bond together, evaluate honestly, split out our tasks and also find some awesome stable solutions to any situation. So this one is to my TEAM, keep up the spirit and we Rock together!

Simple yet powerful message Sheema. Very nicely written. Even in today’s digitally connected world, TRUST is a key binding force that makes teams succeed - the multiplier effect. How do u build trust within teams distributed across the globe. It starts with Intent , outreach, actions , integrity .... it takes time to build it..and YES it begins with YoU.
