Unveiling the blindfold - Taking control of your Life's Narrative
Stopping by this movie lately has given me a profound insight that I'd like to share with you all.
Lets' not get into the movie as such just focus on the image.
In this image, they are blindfolded, now a powerful analogy for how we often navigate our lives when we're blind folded. Any guesses? Give it a try and probably you would find your responses in below elements:
Beliefs
Patterns
Shallow knowledge
Existing experiences
Fear to take steps into the unknown
Unconditional trust in others
Blindly obeying orders, even when they don't align with your values
Following someone without questioning
Living without a clear goal
Encountering hindrances
Resisting change
Feeling threatened or intimidated by our environment
Struggling with blurred vision
Feeling like control is in someone else's hands
Making peace with the darkness
These elements represent the possible dimensions of the blindfold we wear in different aspects of our lives.
In this situation, we have two primary approaches:
Approach 1: You accept being blindfolded, either because you're content with the environment, or you tend to go with the flow. In this case, you live by the conditions set for you.
Approach 2: You're blindfolded but at some point, you realize you have the means to remove the blindfold and take control of your life on your terms. This approach requires audacity and proactive use of your cognitive abilities to tackle the circumstances.
In summary, remember:
Never accept a bad situation.
Take the first step with the resources available at the moment.
Always have control over your own life.
Sometimes, being a disruptor is the only way out.
Be brave, be audacious, take risks.
You can alter the course of your life at any time.
Don't follow; lead.
Your life is your responsibility; no one is coming to save you.
Don't live by facts; create your own light.
Take the first step; the rest will follow once your first step yields results.
Have a will, and it will happen
