UX for AI #51: 🚢 Escape from the Figma Titanic -- Insights Unlocked Podcast
Excited to share my recent episode on Insights Unlocked, where I talk with Sean Treiser about how UX teams can thrive—and lead—in a world of AI-driven experiences.
We dove deep into why “iceberg UX” is the new design reality -- and how to escape the Figma Titanic:
Stop wasting time on Figma mockups that don’t move the needle
Why it’s finally time to bury lorem ipsum (RIP)
How UX pros can lead the AI conversation with empathy, insight, and strategy
Build smarter workflows that integrate AI, data, and real customer feedback
Leverage creative low-fi design skills and trademark UX empathy to ask the right questions.
Whether you're a UX designer, PM, or strategist, this one's for you!

2moGreg Nudelman agreed w a lot this but Figma as repository of components still has potential, no? PS would love to hear your take on this: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7338291290377211904?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios&rcm=ACoAAAAAxvYBjdpWkEZWqBPjXtHW5Z7RxlqHr4Y

2moHi Greg, if I am reading the market properly there is a huge ask for UI skills, like never before. So Figma for me is not dead yet, even if I am not a huge fan of the tool. For me AI in UX trives in desk research, working on flows, possibly with wire framing (Claude artifacts and lovable.dev are pretty good) and planning. Where are you striking gold using AI for UX?
