Stephanie Trunzo, SVP and GM at Oracle Health, and David Hodgson, CEO and Co-founder of Project Ronin, discussed the necessity of connecting clinical and non-clinical systems, unifying data, and engaging the entire healthcare ecosystem to bring about a true digital revolution. Hodgson emphasized the role of machine learning as an assistant for clinicians, providing aggregated guidelines and statistics to empower decision-making. Trunzo shared Oracle Health's commitment to innovation and collaboration, envisioning a future where unified data drives healthcare improvements.

Mission Drives Margin - Lessons of Healthcare Delivery at Scale

Helen Waters, EVP & COO of MEDITECH, interviewed HCA Healthcare CEO Sam Hazen on how HCA remains a leader in healthcare by focusing on its mission and leveraging innovations, technologies, and partnerships. Hazen highlighted the importance of HCA's scale, which allows them to generate efficiencies and offer various services. He also spoke about two key pillars: nursing and physician education. Hazen debunked the myth that for-profit and high-quality care is incompatible, citing HCA's growth, quality improvements, and expanded offerings as evidence.

Blueprint for a Successful Mental Health Access Program

Dr. Laurel Williams, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, and Malekeh Amini, CEO of Trayt.Health, presented the successful Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium, a statewide primary care and school-based access program connecting the entire care ecosystem. Dr. Williams explained the two main programs: a collaborative care model bringing care to primary care physicians and direct care in schools. Amini discussed Trayt.Health's role as the platform enables data collection, analytics, and seamless collaboration among various institutions.
