Waiting to Feel Ready?

What are you sitting on the fence about?

What has been on your mind for a long time that you have not started yet?

You want to plan, you want to be ready, you do not want to make any mistakes.

You are dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s in your plan.

You are weighing the pros and cons.

It feels like you are working towards your goal, but if you look back, you are still where you were when you first started thinking about doing what you have been mulling over.

Because you have convinced yourself that failure is unacceptable.

Let me ask you, is a lack of progress acceptable?

Is it possible that what you consider forethought is fear keeping you in the loop of endless deliberation?

You know, there is no perfect plan. There is no foolproof modus operandi.

You will never feel ready.

The risks will never disappear, and moving forward will always feel challenging because change is hard. Getting out of your comfort zone is hard. Taking risks is hard.

The only way to get out of the loop of endless pondering over options is-

  • Through experimental action followed by adjustment, then more experimental action again, and further adjustment, making gradual but steady progress through continuous course correction.  
  • By constantly pushing through setbacks and learning to bounce back.

What if you could tap into your excitement before it fades away by taking small but steady steps?

What if you could jump off the fence and learn on the go?

What if you could err on the side of action and make gradual but consistent progress?

I invite you to stop waiting to feel ready, let action become your teacher, and build momentum.
