We must celebrate International Men's Day!
It is important in this day and age that women provide a platform to address and celebrate various aspects of men's lives, including their contributions to society and challenges they face.
Diversity and Inclusion is to rise by lifting others. Therefore, Men did not come from Mars and Women did not come from Venus! We evolved together on PLANET EARTH! International Men's Day highlights positive contributions that men make to society, families, and communities. It is important to celebrate these achievements and challenge stereotypes by showcasing diverse examples of responsible, caring, and inspiring men.
It must be celebrated when Sir Andy Murray challenges a journalist on gender stereotypes, it must be celebrated when Ronaldo stays at home and looks after his youngest daughter, it must be celebrated when Mahavir Phogat proclaims that daughters can be wrestlers as they as as tough as boys! These real life heroes as well as positive and inclusive media portrayals of male characters must be publicly highlighted.
However, it is also incredibly important to also use this platform as means to break some taboos about Men's Health. Men often face unique health challenges, including mental health issues, higher suicide rates, and lower life expectancy compared to women. Let us collectively break the stigma around men seeking help and encourage conversations about physical and mental health.
To ask for help is not a sign of weakness, but societal pressures to conform to traditional masculinity is sometimes stifling for men. The image of a tough man, phrases such as "be a man!" discourage men from expressing vulnerability or seeking help. Let us challenge this stereotype and encourage positive conversation about mental wellbeing.
Emotion is Energy in motion, and the body unfortunately stores everything. Having healthy purging mechanisms helps get rid of those unwanted emotional stores. This helps in combating chronic diseases and life conditions such as hypertension, blood pressure, diabetes, hearth conditions, baldness, arthritis, migraines etc. Unfortunately, there is limited support available for men due to societal norms.
In essence, International Men’s Day is about celebrating men while also addressing issues that impact their lives, fostering inclusivity, and striving for healthier societies for everyone. To all my male friends and colleagues, Happy International Men's Day.

6moeditorial🌎🗞️ shows respect to women, that we admire and cherish, as they have an invaluable part to play in shaping humanity even when it goes unnoticed. What if women were the cradle of humanity? To the question to whether or not men should celebrate women's day? The Bridge Magazine replies YES of course and perceives this as a rhetorical question. Our editorial intends to bring men into the equation this International Women’s Day not as a subtle sabotage of Women’s Day festivity. Statistically, (65%) of men believe that women will not achieve equality in their country unless men take actions to support women’s rights too. Our editorial believes gender threats are void : that males and females are complementary rather than eternal conflicting beings. Our editorial celebrates women who protect the family nest, the ambitious, fearless yet demure, mindful and respectful women across the globe. The Bridge Magazine 🌍 🗞️wishes once again A Happy International Women’s Day to all women on earth. 10moHi Kinjal Dave I totally agree with you, strong men should advocate for women, encourage u and enable women to flourish as they should. Small changes will make big impacts for me like not assuming it's a man (doctor, boss etc.) or old sayings like man of the match or x "man" team
