We Must Follow the CDC Guidelines to Save Lives and End This Health Crisis
We have a responsibility to ourselves, to each other, and to our incredible health care workers to do everything we possibly can to reduce transmission of COVID-19. Our caregivers are counting on us - they need our help and support. And while COVID-19 vaccines have brought welcome hope to our communities, we know it will take months before enough people are vaccinated. Until then it will be more important than ever to wear a mask, practice social distancing and hand washing, and continue our testing and contact tracing.
One of President Joe Biden’s first actions was signing an executive order requiring that people wear a mask and practice social distancing on federal property. Later, the order was extended to include wearing masks in airports, bus and rail stations. I applaud these decisions and encourage everyone to follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Sadly, our nation and countries around the world are still in the midst of a grave battle with this pandemic. In the U.S alone, more than 450,000 people have lost their lives with that number expected to only increase in the coming months. These simple measures continue to be the only proven way to slow the spread of COVID-19. At this critical moment in the pandemic, we must continue taking these actions if we are to save lives and end this health crisis.
Let’s all please do our part to support one another and follow the guidelines so the pandemic can become part of our past and we can reclaim our present and future.

4yInteresting concept but self education should not be left up to CDC. Your main responsibility—- SELFCARE READ WHAT CDC WANTS you to know and with that information——Make a Decision for your self None of the drugs cleared or even the mask worn helped. Patient was Covid positive and Cdc there was no reason to wear a special mask. Every one in the operating all most died. Airlines won’t let you wear more than The operation mask. The airlines asked to remove n95. I said no. The guy who was boarding people listening as I told him YOUR OPERATING ROOM MASK DOEST PROTECT YOU OR ANYONE AROUD YOU. It seems like the hospitals won’t allow there mask because a person that does wear this lip warmer; and people become ill but the people who wears therir own n95 mask and don’t become ill as others around them become infected—- I easily see a lawsuit. I see this in major hospitals and cities. After a long story to the steward. She said no more and I got on the plane. Just because the government says do whatever they are voicing an opinion which may not be correct. EDUCATION OR KNOWLEDGE EMPOWERMENT TO THE PEOPLE.

4yThe mask the young man is wearing isn’t protective It is keeping his lips and nose warm.

4ySee here's the thing - none of this makes sense and none of the controls make sense either. this seems like it was more of a planned event vs a pandemic. No 2 health "experts" are on the same page. People are dying from other causes and just getting dog earred as "COVID related" - the best of these is because, in some cases, medical assistance was not available.....

4yDoctors across this great country have provided scientific evidence of treatments that work. Yet the people are subjected to only two pieces of information - Dr. Fauci and the CDC. Instead of listening to doctors who practice medicine and generate scientific results using real patients we get directions from a doctor who doesn't see patients on a daily basis, or has worked within a practice where collaboration is vital. Signing an executive order does not provide a cure or hope. Working in collaboration for a common goal is more powerful than a pen.
