We’re Ready to Welcome the World Back

Travel’s ability to connect people, cultures, dreams, and stories is unmatched. Over the last year, it has become abundantly clear just how much people all over the world crave travel, and have a desire to explore and reconnect. We know the road to the next normal is still being defined, but times of crisis create opportunities for evolution and growth. Whether inspiring travel dreaming in living rooms across the globe, or curating road trips closer to home, our industry has adapted to a changing world with determination to overcome the obstacles we face. We celebrate the power of standing united – and we’re ready to welcome the world back.

Today, I had the opportunity to deliver this message to our industry family at IPW on the heels of yesterday’s thrilling news of the reopening in early November. An announcement that ensures this will be a memorable moment for years to come.

While being physically distant, we’ve stayed connected virtually to continue to experience different ways of life, discover new food and customs, and visit cultural and historic sites. At Brand USA, that meant continuing to position the United States and our partners for a quick and robust return to market by delivering inspirational content through GoUSA TV, engaging with travel trade, and launching our groundbreaking virtual B2B platform, Brand USA Global Marketplace.

These are connections we plan to keep going and growing even further. 

More than ever, we’re also excited to lead the next chapter of our recovery and today unveil plans for a fully integrated campaign that builds on our award-winning United Stories platform. Through it, we’re giving a voice to real U.S. travel experiences and creating authentic, locally relevant, positive, and cost-effective engagements with consumers all centered on one of our greatest strengths: our diversity. 

We believe the USA story is written by everyone and, together with our partners, we’re extending an open invitation to the world to come make your story a part of ours.
