What We Learned from Arise CONNEXT EP.20: Creating a Place Where Everyone Belongs
On Friday, June 27, we wrapped up Pride Month with a vibrant edition of Arise CONNEXT EP.20, themed “Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You.” The event was more than just a knowledge-sharing session; it was a celebration of authenticity, inclusion, and the power of creating spaces where everyone feels welcome to show up as themselves.
This session brought our team together to spotlight why a safe, inclusive culture isn't just a nice-to-have; it's a must. Let’s take a look back at some of the highlights from this inspiring event.
Tech Meets Pride: A Morning of Curiosity, Code, and Community
Starting the day with Tech Day has become a signature tradition at Arise. This time with a special themed “Tech Day x Google Cloud Next ’25.” We were thrilled to welcome our partners from Google Cloud, who joined us to share fresh insights and upcoming trends shaping the industry.
Taking the stage after that were four of our very own talented teams, who shared their key takeaways from the Google Cloud Next ’25 event, highlighting how the latest tech developments are shaping the future of work, and how we can apply them within our teams and projects. They presented on a variety of amazing topics like:
Google Cloud Next'25 Keynote by Saroj Punyapatthanakul, Head of Technology, Google Cloud Thailand
AI: From Next to Now — What We Learned, Imagined, and Built by Chiam Zac Zhan Peng, Data Engineering Lead, INFINITAS by Krungthai

But the morning wasn’t all talk, the Google Cloud team also brought surprises! From mini games to fun activities, Arisers had the chance to engage, win some sweet rewards, and start the day with a smile.
Leading with Intention: Why Safe Space Matters at Work
In the afternoon session of Arise CONNEXT, we explored a topic that’s often overlooked but essential to any thriving workplace: safe space. A truly safe environment allows people to express ideas freely, show up as their authentic selves, and innovate without fear of judgment. And when that happens, it doesn’t just support equality; it builds the foundation for well-being, belonging, and lasting happiness across the organization.
We had the honor of hearing from our CEO, Jakkrit Klinsmith, and Sam Tanskul, in a candid discussion titled “Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You.” They shared reflections on Arise’s journey and the role of diversity and inclusion as non-negotiables in our DNA from day one.
Jakkrit spoke about his founding vision for Arise, which is to create a place where everyone feels a sense of ownership, regardless of gender, age, or background. That belief is reflected in everything from our recruitment process to our office design: there are no executive rooms or fixed desks, only open, shared spaces for everyone.
“If we limit diversity, it stops people from expressing themselves, sharing ideas, and fully showing who they are.” – Jakkrit Klinsmith
When people feel safe to be themselves, they’re more willing to take initiative, speak up, and challenge the status quo. That’s the kind of culture we’re working to cultivate every day.
Sam Tanskul added that Arise is a place where people truly feel empowered to contribute. Beyond inclusion, it’s a sandbox environment, a space where people can experiment, grow, and enjoy the process along the way. In his view, the next step isn’t just maintaining a safe space, but asking how we can make it even more enjoyable, so that everyone feels energized to learn and grow together.
Jakkrit also emphasized that creating a safe space is just the beginning. What truly drives progress is having a team that’s brave enough to think differently, take action, and improve continuously together. Because at the end of the day, a safe space doesn’t thrive on intention alone. It’s powered by the people within it, who choose to make it better every single day.
Arise CONNEXT once again reminded us that building a safe and inclusive workplace happens when everyone steps up. From the insightful morning sessions with our partners at Google Cloud to the heartfelt conversations on diversity and inclusion in the afternoon, each moment reinforced a shared truth: a truly safe space begins with intentional actions, openness, and the courage to grow together. It’s about progress, led by people who believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
