Who Is It?

Who is THAT person? You know, that person you…

LOVE THE MOST.

Picture them right now.

A smile is probably on your face now, and your heart is warm, beating faster.

They inspire you. You'd give your life for this person.

Here’s the thing. What if you became fully present to this fact,

and also started LIVING for this person AND yourself?

The problem is, we really don't do that for ourselves, do we? We're not supposed to.

That's selfish.

Self-centered.

Who cares if by taking care of our own needs, we're actually serving others in the highest way?

Back to living for this #1 person in your life AND yourself. What would life be like if you truly didn't take yourself for granted and by living for yourself, you lived for others and showed them a path?

The best way to teach is by example, and many leaders don't realize they're doing that every day.

Just Because We’re at Work Doesn’t Mean We Stop Caring for Ourselves

In fact, we need to pay even more attention to our needs when we're on the playing field of work.

Because when we are exhausted, disconnected, or constantly self-sacrificing in the name of achievement, we disconnect from our purpose —

and the people we love feel it.

Here Are 5 Things You Can Start Doing TODAY — At Work — to Fully Live for Yourself AND That #1 Person You Love

1. Take the Break Step away from your desk — even if it’s just for five minutes. No email. No scrolling. Just you. Stretch, breathe, take a walk. Your nervous system — and your loved ones will thank you later.

2. Say “No” with Grace and Confidence You are not a machine. Protect your time and energy by saying no when you need to. Every “no” to what drains you is a “yes” to what matters most.  You’re making space for a “Hell Yes!”

3. Ask for What You Need Support. Clarity. Flexibility. Most of us don’t ask — and then feel resentful when we don’t receive. Ask. Speak up. It’s not a weakness — it’s leadership.

4. Bring Your Whole Self to Conversations Put down the mask. Be real. That doesn’t mean oversharing — it means being present, being human, and letting your values guide your words.

5. End Your Day with Intention Before you log off, take 60 seconds to reflect: What did I do today that aligned with the life I want to live —

and the example I want to set for the one I love most?

Living well isn’t just a personal mission. It’s your leadership in motion. Live for them. Live for you. Start today — especially at work.
