When a client hesitates with an “I don’t know,” accompanied by a subtle tightening or collapse in their body, you might respond, “Did you notice what just happened in your body?” This simple yet profound invitation shifts the focus from overthinking to deeper awareness. It encourages the client to step out of habitual patterns and into a space of presence, where true choice and possibility emerge.

3. Inviting Awareness and Choice 

Embodiment coaching is not about "fixing" or changing someone - it’s about cultivating the capacity to 'feel', to notice habitual patterns, and to engage with life more consciously. By bringing awareness to the body, we open the door to intentional choice, rather than reactive behaviour. Even seemingly simple practices like exaggerating a posture, exploring its opposite, or visualising a symbolic image can spark profound internal shifts. These explorations aren’t about striving to perform or meet external expectations but rather about deepening the ability to respond authentically and in alignment with inner values.
