Would You Work With You? The Trust & Loyalty Check-In That Matters More Than Your Resume.
Let me ask you a question I recently posed to a live room of leaders, coaches, and business owners:
“What’s it like to work with you?”
Not what do you sell, or how long have you been doing it, but how do people feel when they work with you?
Because your real brand isn’t your profile, your pitch, or your credentials. It’s the feeling you leave behind after the deal is done, the invoice is paid, or the Zoom call ends.
That’s your invisible brand—and this week, we explored it live during a Breakfast with Champions workshop.
Here’s what people in the room said they want others to feel when working with them:
✅ Safe ✅ Fulfilled ✅ Important ✅ Motivated ✅ Victorious ✅ Respected ✅ Faithful ✅ Celebrated ✅ Confident ✅ Seen
Not one person said “impressed.” Not one said “influenced.” They said valued.
🔁 What This Means for You:
If you're building a personal brand, leading a team, or growing a business—here’s the gut check:
Are you making trust deposits in your relationships—or quietly overdrawing?
Do people feel emotionally safe working with you?
Is your loyalty visible when things get hard—or only when it benefits you?
🎯 Before You Go, Ask Yourself:
✨ Would you refer you? ✨ Would your clients come back, even if you raised your prices? ✨ What’s the emotional review people would give your presence?
📖 I wrote a full article exploring this in-depth, including real stories and a “trust audit” exercise. 👉 Read the full blog post here (It’s worth bookmarking.)
🧩 Next Week: We’ll explore Part 2 – Repairing Trust & Rebuilding Loyalty Because even the best brands drop the ball. It’s how you fix it that builds legacy.
