🌏 In Papua New Guinea, rapid industrialization is putting pressure on essential services and the environment. To help address this, IFC - International Finance Corporation is investing $10.2 million in TWM Group, PNG’s leading waste management company. This investment will support the country’s first integrated waste facility meeting international standards: ✅ Reducing unmanaged waste ✅ Protecting public health ✅ Strengthening economic resilience As PNG celebrates 50 years of independence and partnership with the World Bank Group, this project highlights how private sector solutions can drive sustainable development. TWM Group was also one of 18 companies participating in the Meri Save Trades (Women Know Trades) initiative in PNG, led by IFC and supported by the governments of Australia and New Zealand in partnership with the Business Coalition for Women.
