📉 According to Gallup, global employee engagement and well-being have dropped for only the second time since 2009. One big reason? Manager burnout. Managers today are being asked to do more with less, with minimal support, and when managers burn out, team well-being suffers. I wrote a bonus chapter for my new book, Lead Well, to address manager burnout. Other research shows that more than 1/4 of leaders feel burned out often or always, and 2/3 feel it at least sometimes. In addition, 75% of the C-suite reported that they are seriously contemplating quitting their jobs for one that better supports their well-being, and 64% of managers said the same thing. You can download my bonus chapter here: https://bit.ly/44lhcYN Please share this with your teams and those within your organization so that we can begin to ease the stress managers currently feel. 👉 Learn how to build sustainable leadership cultures in Lead Well: https://amzn.to/4jmTHTk #LeadWell #ManagerBurnout #Leadership #WorkplaceWellbeing
