  • PANCE/PANRE - PANRE LA Board Review

    - Present

If you are a PA... you need to pass the boards. It's a right of passage. It's always painful and a bit scary. If you are a program director, let us show you how we optimize your first time PANCE pass rate.

We have designed a program of 5:1 study time. Meaning, we have focused on how to make learning optimal and efficient. So, that one hour of lecture is equal to 5 hours of independent study. We don't just read from a power point slide. I hate that! We make the information easy…

  • Demystifying Emergency Medicine Conference/DVD Program

    - Present

Learning EM is built on a foundation of medical knowledge based on evidence and best practices. Then, there is an assimilation that needs to occur. You need to apply labs to a patient presentation. You need to know how to read a CXR in association with a patient w/ SOB. You need tools of application, and how to stay safe. You need to know how to communicate masterfully to both clinical staff and patients. You need to stay out of medical legal trouble. This program is just that. There…

There is no better way to learn Urgent Care or EM. We have taught this information to over ten thousand clinicians.

This program is why we are getting more and more military PAs attending. "You are going to see more of us here, because your stuff is so practical." Quote from a Lieutenant on SEAL Team 1. (That was the third Navy SEAL that have attended our conference this year.)

Don't take my word for it... see our testimonials.

  • Patient Satisfaction & Transformative Influence

    -

This project focuses on transforming attitudes about why we do what we do in medicine and enhancing the patient experience.

    Engage. Smile. Ponder.

Remember that teen or young adult that once said, "I want to get into health care?" Remember the acceptance email (or in my case letter?) I cried.

But I also got "caught up." Caught up in the grind or unrealistic patients, over worked nurses and frustrated physicians. I got stung by charting and law suits and work…

Remember that teen or young adult that once said, "I want to get into health care?" Remember the acceptance email (or in my case letter?) I cried.

But I also got "caught up." Caught up in the grind or unrealistic patients, over worked nurses and frustrated physicians. I got stung by charting and law suits and work overstress. My personal life had it's ups and downs, and at times, more then I like to admit, the patient, who comes to me for my professional help, is treated less then optimal. I am ashamed about my past behavior. This 4 hour program explores the journey, the thought processes and cognitive bias we employ in medicine.
