    Chair of property sub-committee, and a member of the personnel and community engagement sub-committees. In 2013 the school recruited a new Principal, and 2014 will see the start of significant building projects to reflect the projected roll growth.

    In response to Cyclone Winston that devastated Fiji and Tonga I facilitated raising of $70,000 to assemble and send a team of 16 @Maori and Pasifika Trades Trainees to Fiji who spent two weeks building cyclone proof houses in Fiji. While in Fiji we managed the team logistics alongside Habitat for Humanity Fiji and Hawkins, and ensured we supported sponsors through regular communications back to NZ.
