Whisky Devil: Study Abroad Capstone Project
During the course of my study abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland, our teacher instructed us to create a piece of software that would creatively exemplify an aspect of Scottish culture. As we toured around the country, I found what an interesting science there was behind the creation of Scotch whiskys and decided to focus on them for my project.

As we toured around the country, I found what an interesting science there was behind the creation of Scotch whiskys and decided to focus on them for my project.
I created a database of all of the local pubs in Edinburgh and every Scotch they currently had, including it's year and price. I then compiled a list of every distillery in Scotland, if they were in operation or not still, and what "whisky region" they belonged to. Using this data, I created algorithmic "pub portraits" for the establishments in Edinburgh that allowed the user to easily traverse for their specific palette. -

Graphical User Interface Design & Implementation (CSE3345) Final Project: PokéTrade
- Present
Poke-Trade will allow players of the first three Pokémon Nintendo GameBoy Games (Blue, Red, and Yellow) to share what Pokémon they battle with and own in a social-networking environment. This will allow players of these classic games to still find a way to trade with friends and others, even though their GameBoys can not connect to the internet. Each user will have a profile, featuring their owned Pokémon, with their main six set apart, as well as a quantification of their in-game progress…
Each user will have a profile, featuring their owned Pokémon, with their main six set apart, as well as a quantification of their in-game progress and the amount of badges they own. Other users can propose trading options from the Pokémon they have featured on the site. When a trade is mutually agreed upon and conducted, their Pokémon and the server will switch upon confirmation. The site’s database will hold all of the information regarding the first one hundred and fifty one species of Pokémon, from their animated sprite image to the possible moves they can have. Each individual Pokémon will feature it’s unique nickname, as well as track the original trainer to see how far each Pokémon is passed along. Poke-Trade will implement a three-tier software architecture, consisting of a database that contains the users of the site as well as all the Pokémon, the application server layer, and the client layer where the users will interface with our product. Poke-Trade will have two parts to the client layer, a web-based application for the stay at home trainers and an Android application for those who train on the go.

USMC Commercial Hunter Program
Over the course of ten days, I, being a part of a six-man group, formulated a hypothesis on how we could take down a Marine-grade UAV using materials easily accessible from the Internet.

Database Concepts (CSE3330) Final Project: Looking Glass
-
The objective of this project, as specified by Professor Mark Fontenot and Professor Chris Raley, was to design and implement a three-tier image management software in the period of fifty-six days. The final product consisted of both a web-accessed piece of software as well as a mobile version of the program to be run on the Android. The software’s three tiers of the architecture are as follows: the database layer, the application server layer, as well as the client layer.

The software’s three tiers of the architecture are as follows: the database layer, the application server layer, as well as the client layer.
The software would be used by three different kinds of individuals: visitors, users and administrators. The visitors can browse images uploaded that are marked as public. Users, or members of the site, have the added privilege to manage images and the albums that contain them. They may tag these images with the users featured, as well as identifiers such as the camera type, location, et cetera. Administrators moderate (delete and edit) comments and images, as well as being able to suspend users for violation of the program’s standards. All kinds of individuals may search the site for available content.
Peruna Industries, including members Jeffrey Artigues, Albert Chen, Lauren McManamon, Chelsea Rickel, and Preston Tighe has entitled their project “Looking Glass.”Other creators -

The four captains as a unit lead every practice, choreograph the dances, and plan engagements both on and off campus
