    Education

    I first became a Governor when my daughter attended the school and I wanted to have some influence and control over the schools running. as part of my role I am responsible for looking at the schools finances, staffing appointments, safeguarding and many other requirements as well as performing audits of the teaching standards and collective data.

    I became Chairman in Sept 2013 and took the school through its second Estyn Inspection with excellent results. I am very proud of the…

    I became Chairman in Sept 2013 and took the school through its second Estyn Inspection with excellent results. I am very proud of the position, and extremely proud of the school and all who work in it, they are one of the most hard working and dedicated group of people I have ever met, not to mention the wonderful pupils who work so hard and make this one of the best welsh schools in the Caerphilly cluster.
