Log Sampling¶

Rsyslog supports various sampling mechanism. User can perform sampling while collecting logs from client systems and forward it to server systems for aggregation and persistence.

Sampling strategies¶

Rsyslog support following sampling strategies:-

Random sampling

Hash based sampling
