Brendan F.D. Barrett is a senior lecturer in Sustainability and Urban Planning in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT University. He is program manager for the Masters of International Urban and Environmental Management (MC222).
Previously, he was the research coordinator for the UN Global Compact - Cities Programme. He also holds positions of a visiting associate professor at the University of Tokyo and visiting senior research fellow at UNU-IAS. He is an associate member of the RMIT Centre for Urban Research.
In the past, he contributed to the IPCC 5th Assessment Report and was a member of the IUCN Committee on Education and Communications.
