Currently working on the advancement of instituional reform actions towards holistic IWRM, developing a 5 year perspective work plan for Advanced Centre for IWRM; design of pilots for demonstrating IWRM principles at a sub-basin level; interacting with PPTAs - Irrigation, Agriculture and Urban WSS to bring in IWRM principles as a single common theme; capacity building plan for the loan components, etc.
Last year worked on water sector reforms in Karnataka by revamping KERS, WALMI, ESC and WRDO to enable the state to move to IWRM principles and RBO planning. An Advanced Centre for IWRM was setup to provide leadership in water sector reforms and enroll all agencies involved with water use....
