Responsible for the safety, quality, scrap, waste and throughput of the departments responsible for production of 1.5 million key blanks per day. This includes the brass and nickel silver foundry, extrusion operation, rolling mill operation , and blanking department.
Lead the departments in TPM initiatives to include, 5S, lean manufacturing principles of kanban and process flow, kaizen, SMED, FMEA, RCA, and continuous improvement. Motivate 80+ hourly, and 5 staff team members in order to create a culture change that will increase production and efficiency, reduce waste and scrap in order to sustain our growth and profitability in the marketplace.
