I am a researcher in the fields of requirements engineering and global software engineering. For me, requirements engineering is first of all about communication. My research aims at supporting practitioners in dealing with the information overload of today's software projects, leveraging their experience and expertise, and doing an excellent job. The intersection of requirements engineering with related fields such as architecture and project management fascinates me. I had the opportunity to gain experience as a researcher and teacher in this area on two continents.
