I have always embodied a deep appreciation for art and nature, so I feel blessed to have been afforded the opportunity to grow up in southern WV, a paradise for a nature enthusiast like myself. Since I was an undergraduate, I have been fortunate for the opportunity to work with communities, towns and organizations on projects based on need, tourism and environmental education. I have written proposals, presented ideas, taught children in outdoor classrooms, and coached tennis at camps and college. Since being at graduate school studying Landscape Architecture and Environmental Geography, I would describe my experience as designing and planning sustainable communities and economies.
