What is Northeast Avalon ACAP?
Northeast Avalon ACAP is a community advocacy group formed in 1993 with the
support of Environment Canada under the Atlantic Coastal Action
Program to address environmental issues affecting the quality of our
natural resources with a particular emphasis on St. John's Harbour,
and the watersheds and coastal areas of the Northeast Avalon in an
area defined by the Witless Bay Line that runs from Holyrood to
Witless Bay, and north to Cape St. Francis.
