40 years experience in various fields of welding, inspection,non destructive testing, state of plant investigations, forensic investigation, inspection and quality assurance.
25 years of this in various levels of management with the last 5 years as either Group Quality Manager with a large steel fabrication and erection company and as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
I believe that the Quality function is not being utilised correctly but at the same time being over documented thus detracting from a valuable input in company sustainability.
