I am a part of the Core Data Services / Infrastructure team , which builds and maintains the Offline ETL Pipeline . All the data ingested from the Live systems are then brought to Hadoop Via Kafka and other ingestion methods. From Hadoop the data is ETL'ed to Teradata in a Normalised and Structured format which is then used by Sales and Marketing teams across Linkedin to leverage campaigns and business decision making.
